The Message Worker Threads page lists the message worker threads that the POA is currently running. Message worker threads process message files, delivering messages to users' mailboxes.
Threads
Lists the POA threads that are available to deliver messages.
To increase the number of message worker threads for the current POA session, use the Message File Processing Threads link on the Configuration page.
You can increase the standard number of message worker threads in ConsoleOne® (POA object > GroupWise tab > Agent Settings page > Message Handler Threads field). The default is 6; valid values range from 1 to 30.
Process ID
On Linux, displays the process ID (PID number) of each POA thread.
Message Count
Displays the number of message files each thread has handled since the POA started.
State
Displays what each each message worker thread is doing.
Idle: The thread is waiting for work.
Busy: The thread is processing a message file.
Suspended: The thread has been suspended because because there is insufficient free disk space in the post office to continue processing messages. This situation can be avoided by setting up a disk space management event for the POA in ConsoleOne.
Current Message
Displays the name of the message file being processed.
Time Elapsed
Displays the number of seconds each thread has been processing its current message file.
If the time elapsed is high, click the thread to see what message and user might be having a problem.
