The GWCheck Queues page provides a window into the priority 0-3 subdirectories where the POA GWCheck threads pick up mailbox/library maintenance requests in the post office.
Displays the full path to the POA GWCheck queue (post_office_directory\wpcsout\chk).
Queues
Lists the contents of the priority 0-3 subdirectories in the POA GWCheck queue for the post office. Different types of GWCheck requests are held in each priority subdirectory:
Priority 0: Automatic database recovery requests
Priority 1: Automatic database recovery actions
Priority 2: Scheduled mailbox/library maintenance actions
Priority 3: Scheduled mailbox/library maintenance events; a single scheduled event can include multiple actions
The defer subdirectory in the POA GWCheck queue holds all messages that cannot be delivered because the database they need to be written to is currently being recovered. When the database recovery is completed, the messages are moved from the defer subdirectory back into the POA input queue for delivery.
Click a priority subdirectory to list the GWCheck requests it contains.
Count
Displays the number of GWCheck requests that are currently waiting in each priority queue for processing by the POA GWCheck threads. Typically, no requests are waiting unless the POA GWCheck queue is backlogged.
If the GWCheck queue is backlogged, you can use the Maximum GWCheck Processing Threads link on the Configuration page to increase the number of GWCheck threads for the current POA session.
You can increase the standard number of POA GWCheck threads in ConsoleOne® (POA object > GroupWise tab > Maintenance page).
