GWCheck Processing

GWCheck worker threads perform mailbox/library maintenance for databases in the post office.

The GWCheck Processing page lets you change the number of GWCheck worker threads for the current POA session.

The standard number of GWCheck worker threads is established in ConsoleOne® (POA object > GroupWise tab > Maintenance page > Maintenance Handler Threads field). The default is 4; valid values range from 1 to 8.

You can use the Status page to assess whether or not the current GWCheck processing configuration is meeting the needs of your GroupWise® system. Use the GWCheck Auto Queues and GWCheck Scheduled Queues links to view the current contents of the POA GWCheck queue. Use the GWCheck Worker Threads link to list the GWCheck worker threads that the POA is currently running.

Specify the number of GWCheck worker threads you want the POA to use, then click Submit to put the setting into effect.

Start Processing GWCheck Queues

Select this option, then click Submit to manually start GWCheck processing immediately, rather than waiting for its next scheduled cycle.
