The Link Configuration page lists location information for all domains, post offices, and gateways that the MTA transfers messages to.
Destination
Lists the destinations that the MTA is linked to.
The domain serviced by the MTA appears at the top of the list, followed by the post offices and gateways belonging to this domain. Next, other domain links are listed, followed by IDomain links.
Click a destination to display the agent Web console for the destination. Links are available only for destinations that the MTA has a TCP/IP link to.
Type
Indicates whether each destination is a domain, post office, or gateway.
Status
Open: The MTA can transfer messages to the destination.
Closed: The MTA cannot transfer messages to the destination. Click that destination to determine the last closure reason. For troubleshooting assistance, you can look up last closure reasons in Troubleshooting 1: Error Messages.
Suspended: The MTA is not currently processing messages for the destination because it has been suspended. You can resume message processing for the destination on the Links page.
Open Pending: The destination is in the process of opening and the MTA is clearing its holding queue for the destination. When this is accomplished, the MTA begins processing current messages and the status changes to Open.
Address
Displays the location of the destination in the format appropriate for the link type. For a TCP/IP link, the IP address and port number of the destination are displayed. For UNC and mapped links, the server, volume or drive, and directory path of the destination are displayed.
