SOAP Threads

The SOAP Threads page lists the SOAP threads that the POA is currently running. SOAP threads service requests from SOAP clients.

SOAP Thread List

Threads

Lists the POA threads that are allocated for connections to SOAP clients. By default, the POA starts starts 3 SOAP threads. Each SOAP thread can service multiple SOAP clients. Additional SOAP threads are started as needed, until the configured maximum number of SOAP threads is reached.

Process ID (Linux Only)

Displays the process ID (PID number) of each POA SOAP thread.

Request Count

Displays the number of service requests from SOAP clients that each thread has handled during the current POA session.

State

Displays what each SOAP thread is doing.

Idle: The thread is waiting for work.

Busy: The thread is servicing a SOAP client request.

Time Elapsed

Displays the number of seconds each thread has been responding to its SOAP client request.

If the time elapsed is high, click the thread to see what task and user might be having a problem.
