The IMAP Threads page lists the IMAP threads that the POA is currently running. IMAP threads service requests from IMAP e-mail clients. Regular IMAP threads can handle SSL connections when SSL is enabled. IMAP SSL threads are used when SSL is required.
Threads
Lists the POA threads that are allocated for connections to IMAP e-mail clients. By default, the POA can start as many as 99 IMAP threads. Each IMAP thread can service multiple IMAP e-mail clients.
Process ID
On Linux, displays the process ID (PID number) of each POA IMAP thread.
Request Count
Displays the number of service requests from IMAP e-mail clients that each thread has handled during the current POA session.
State
Displays what each each IMAP thread is doing.
Idle: The thread is waiting for work.
Busy: The thread is servicing an IMAP e-mail client request.
Time Elapsed
Displays the number of seconds each thread has been responding to its IMAP e-mail client request.
If the time elapsed is high, click the thread to see what task and user might be having a problem.
