CAP Threads / CAP SSL Threads

The CAP Threads page lists the CAP threads that the POA is currently running. CAP threads service requests from CAP clients. Regular CAP threads can handle SSL connections when SSL is enabled. CAP SSL threads are used when SSL is required.

CAP Thread List

Threads

Lists the POA threads that are allocated for connections to CAP clients. By default, the POA can start as many as 99 CAP threads. Each CAP thread can service multiple CAP clients.

Process ID (Linux Only)

Displays the process ID (PID number) of each POA CAP thread.

Request Count

Displays the number of service requests from CAP clients that each thread has handled during the current POA session.

State

Displays what each CAP thread is doing.

Idle: The thread is waiting for work.

Busy: The thread is servicing a CAP client request.

Time Elapsed

Displays the number of seconds each thread has been responding to its CAP client request.

If the time elapsed is high, click the thread to see what task and user might be having a problem.
