Rejected Caching Requests

The Rejected Caching Requests page lists periods of time during the last 24 hours when the POA has been unable to respond immediately to all of the caching requests that it has received from GroupWise® clients that are running in Caching mode. Rejected caching requests are retried until they are successful. The number of rejected caching requests helps you fine tune the number of C/S handler threads the POA should be configured to use.

Rejected Requests for Caching Download

The POA tracks rejected caching requests in 15-minute intervals and records the date, time, and maximum number of rejected requests for each interval.

Date/Time

Displays the date and time when the maximum number of rejected caching requests occurred during its 15-minute interval.

Rejected Caching Requests

Displays the maximum number of rejected caching requests.

If rejected caching requests are common, the POA is overloaded and CPU utilization is probably high.

To find out why the POA had a high number of rejected caching requests at a specific time, you can search the POA log files on the Log Files page for unusual activities during that time period.
