By default, the POA allows multiple versions of the GroupWise® client to access it. These could be Windows clients or Cross-Platform clients.
The GroupWise Client Version and Date page lets you control client version and/or date requirements for the current POA session. Specify requirements as needed, then click Submit to put the requirements into effect. Use the C/S Users link on the Status page to check for older GroupWise clients. If any users are running older GroupWise clients, they will appear in red on the Current Users page. If any users are running equivalent or newer GroupWise clients, they will appear in blue.
Standard date and version requirements for GroupWise clients are established in ConsoleOne® (Post Office object > GroupWise tab > Client Access Settings page).
Specify the minimum acceptable release version of the GroupWise client for users in the post office. (Only 6.x versions of the client are supported for lockout.)
Specify the minimum acceptable release date of the GroupWise client for users in the post office.
You can specify the minimum version, the minimum date, or both. If you specify both minimums, any user for which both minimums are not true will be identified as running an older GroupWise client.
Select Enforce Lockout for the version and/or date if you want to force client users with older client software to update before they can access their GroupWise mailboxes in the future.
