C/S Requests Pending

The C/S Requests Pending page lists periods of time during the last 24 hours when the POA has been unable to respond immediately to all of the client/server requests that it has received from GroupWise® client users. Pending requests mean that some GroupWise users cannot access their mailboxes or that response time is sluggish for users. These could be Windows clients or Cross-Platform clients.

To handle occasional heavy client activity when there are pending client/server requests but CPU utilization is still below the configured threshold, the POA automatically starts additional C/S handler threads above the number configured in ConsoleOne® to handle the workload. When the workload returns to normal, the C/S handler threads return to the number configured in ConsoleOne.

C/S Pending Requests History

The POA tracks pending requests in 15-minute intervals and records the date, time, and maximum number of pending requests for each interval.

Date/Time

Displays the date and time when the maximum number of pending requests occurred during its 15-minute interval.

C/S Requests Pending

Displays the maximum number of pending requests.

To find out why the POA had a high number of pending requests at a specific time, you can search the POA log files on the Log Files page for unusual activities during that time period.
